Shaun Bijani has been with Sports Radio 610 since 2006, when he took an internship here during his final semester in college. He started out as part of the regular sports flash rotation for the night shift with Adam Wexler and Danny Vara, while also filling in on the morning and afternoon shows.
Shaun is the co-host of Sports Saturday along side Rob Costa, from 4pm to 6pm. You can still catch him a couple of nights a week on the night shift doing sports flashes.
Shaun has lived in Houston his entire life and is a graduate of Mount Carmel High School and the University of Houston. He attributes his success to his Grandfather, Frank O. Mancuso (member of the 1944 AL Champion, St. Louis Browns, member of the Texas Baseball Hall of Fame, brother of Gus Mancuso, and finally, a.k.a. "Mr. .667"....his World Series batting average), who is the biggest inspiration behind all that he does.
A die-hard baseball fan, Shaun loves to cover all of the local teams, but when he's not "working" or reporting on the local beats around town, he likes to hit the gym, research baseball history, playing baseball with his "beer belly league buddies" on the weekends, and of course spending time with his own Sports Radio 610 Ball Girl...Mandy!
