This is Adam Clanton's second tour of duty at Sports Radio 610. He has been in broadcasting since December of 2004, when he first began working at the station during his final year of college. He cut his teeth on the original Night Shift with Matt Jackson and was soon part of the regular sports flash rotation, while also filling in on the morning and afternoon shows.
After leaving the station briefly to kick-start his television career, Adam returned to Sports Radio 610 in April of 2008 as a full-time member of the Morning Crew with Marc Vandermeer and Andre Ware. He is also the host of The Adam Clanton Experience weekdays from 10-11 a.m., while still producing and appearing on KPRC Local 2 sports programming.
A graduate of Cypress Creek High School and Sam Houston State University, Adam has lived in Houston since the age of 8. He credits his father's career in radio as his inspiration for entering the business.
A self-admitted die-hard Houston sports fan, Adam considers himself extremely lucky to cover all of the local teams. When he's not at the games, he enjoys listening to music on his iPod, reading, and spending time with his family.
